Square Paper City on Itch.io!
Hi there!
I'm happy to announce that my solo project Playhear: Square Paper City, has now an official trailer to be shown to the world and an Itch.io page!
Why sharing my project here and at this development state?
I decided to add this project here on Itch.io as I think that this community might be more interested than on other platforms, by an artistic approach to video games.
My goal is to create a series of interactive electronic music album made as video games as I strongly believe that this media gives so much opportunities to explore uncharted territories!
I'm initially a composer and sound designer and a few years ago, I co founded a studio called Concrete Games. Since I switched my career from scene artist and electronic music producer in 2012 to work in video games, I learned so much that I started to develop by myself on Unreal Engine.
As an example, for the birth of my first child in 2017, I made a game to announce it😃
And last year I worked alone on our Janga prototype, because my dear team mate Mathieu had to take a long break.
I also developed a few games for a french art gallery and other kind of projects (Yvain, Le Graal en Doom-Like...).
Here I am now, with this new project which is probably my most personal one as it combines everything I have always been fascinated by: surrealism, electronic music, interactivity, video games, visual arts, weirdness!...
Please, let me know what you think about it and don't hesitate to share!
Thanks!
